At LEF, making sure kids have nutritious, tasty, and culturally familiar meals has always been a priority. To strengthen this commitment, we’ve partnered with Real Food for Real Kids (RFRK), a trusted name in providing healthy, natural, and kid-friendly meals.

Last season, we witnessed and celebrated milestones in five programs at LEF. Every graduate represents a story of growth, hope and resilience; these graduations are a new beginning for their journey.

On December 11th, LEF was proud to host 150 Air Canada employees, for the second annual Bike Build. They brought their determination, joy, and excitement to assemble 165 bikes as part of a growing partnership between Air Canada and LEF.

On Friday August 22, 2024, LEF hosted our annual Multicultural Day Celebration, bringing our Summer Program to a close.

On July 24th, over 100 Educators, parents, child care operators, local leaders and community members, came together for a Child Care Rally to share experiences, information, and opportunities to advocate for change.

We are here to help you. We know that sometimes it is challenging to feel comfortable in a new country, but we are here for you. At LEF, we have sessions for your first months and years in the country to help you through. You can join us online or in person, in groups or one-on-one.

In summer 2023, our youth program participants went on bike rides along the Humber River and learned about Indigenous traditions.
