Women, whether starting over, chasing new opportunities, or building a new future while walking on their journey, never walk alone at LEF.

Every day, they show up in incredible ways while caring for their children, building a future in a new country, and learning a language—they're pushing forward and lifting each other.

In 2024, 54% of clients who accessed our programs and services were women; LEF supports them in every stage of their journey. 96% of educators in our childcare centres identify as women.

There's a network of hardworking, dedicated, and brilliant women at LEF who mentor, educate, and go above and beyond in everything they do. Their impact changes lives. They make the journey not only possible but also beautiful. When women rise, the entire community rises with them.

This week, the incredible women in LEF's community left beautiful messages on our board in the office about what IWD means to them. See the collage of pictures that show our staff and clients who work every day to uplift each other and #AccelerateAction for gender equality.
