Tasting Events at Child Care Centers
RFRK has been hosting tasting sessions at our child care centres to help parents experience the meals firsthand. These events give families the chance to sample the food, ask questions, and share feedback regarding the menus and foods. The tastings will continue for the next few weeks, so more parents can get involved. If you see an RFRK tasting event at your centre, stop by, try some delicious bites, and chat with the RFRK team! A Smooth Transition
The switch from our in-house kitchen to RFRK catering has been smooth, with great feedback from parents, children and educators. Parents had the opportunity to learn about ingredients, meal preparation, and dietary accommodations while getting a firsthand look at the menu. Jenna, a dedicated RFRK team member, led the tasting with enthusiasm, making sure every question was answered.
Kids Can’t Get Enough!
The children were just as excited as their parents. Cookies were an instant favourite, with kids coming back for seconds. One parent even joked, “What are you feeding them?” as they watched their child’s post-school energy run. But it’s not just about the taste—RFRK’s commitment to balanced, nutritious meals means children get the right fuel for learning and play. The RFRK team is thrilled by the enthusiasm from families and is excited for what’s ahead.
Updates for Parents
To make things even easier, menus and FAQs will be available on the RFRK website, so parents can stay informed and ensure their child’s dietary needs are met. We’re looking forward to this new chapter and grateful for our families’ support in making this transition a success!
