Learn the Skills You Need to Get the Career You Want

The Learning Enrichment Foundation offers local training courses to help you learn the skills you need to succeed in your career.

Courses we Offer:

    Warehouse Essential Skills
    Join this 10-week skills training program where you’ll learn warehouse skills such as forklifting and general warehouse logistics. Most of this certification program is hands-on, which means you’ll be spending a lot of time inside of warehouses.

    Early Childhood Assistant Program
    This program prepares you for roles in child care facilities or child home care across Toronto. We also offer a program geared toward newcomers, including Occupation-Specific Language Training (OSLT)

    English Language Training
    The program covers a wide variety of content. So while you are learning the language, you will also be learning about employment, education, housing, financial literacy, and other important aspects of life in Canada, including Canadian law.

    Bicycle Assembly and Maintenance
    Bicycles are a big part of how people commute in Toronto. Learn how to assemble and fix bikes with our experienced LEF Instructor, Darren Duke.

    Alternative Careers in Health Promotion and Education
    The Ontario Bridge Training Program at LEF runs for 24 weeks and is designed to empower internationally trained physicians for employment within Ontario's healthcare ecosystem in non-practitioner roles.

    Launch Your Career
    If you are between the ages of 15-30, out of work and school, and are facing challenges to finding gainful employment, then the Launch Your Career program is meant for you.

    New to Canada? As a newcomer to Canada with professional training or education from another country, one of the most important steps to restart your career or continue your education is to get your credentials recognized.
