Forming new relationships will be a large part of your child's learning process. They make friends with their peers and establish bonds with their teachers. At LEF, we also hope to form relationships with you as parents.

Our childcare centres are the heart of our communities. They are an extension of your home, so our educators are constantly in dialogue with our families to make sure your children feel accepted and excited while learning and growing at LEF, and that you know there’s always an open line of communication. Guided by our learnings from Indigenous communities, these relationships include Mother Earth, as our First Teacher.

At LEF, we recognize our need to respond to a changing world. Participating and enacting research helps us to understand education in general, but also social shifts, cultural sensitivities, economic realities, along with other factors that impact your child’s ability to learn and your ability to exist in community.

Whether your child is entering into LEF or already part of the community, we’ve established resources to guide you through every step of the process.
