The Learning Enrichment Foundation is thrilled to announce that Toronto City Council has approved $1,455,897.98 in Section 37 community benefit funds to support our affordable housing development, The Quilt.
We want to extend our sincere thanks to Councillor Frances Nunziata for moving this motion and championing affordable housing investment in our community. Her leadership was instrumental in securing this funding, which will directly translate into homes for families who need them.
This funding will support the construction of:
70 new affordable rental housing units
58 rent-controlled market units
21 rental replacement units, provided by LEF at its own cost
