Summer Workshops

This series provides practical information to help participants stay healthy, safe, and active throughout the summer. Each session focuses on an important aspect of summer health and wellness:

June 12: Hydration and Heat Safety – Learn how to stay hydrated, prevent dehydration, and protect yourself from heat-related illnesses.

June 19: Healthy Eating During Summer – Explore nutritious food choices, seasonal produce, and food safety tips for hot weather.

June 26: Stay Active and Healthy This Summer – Discover safe and enjoyable ways to stay physically active during the summer months.

July 3: Mental Well-being During Summer – Learn strategies to support emotional wellness, reduce stress, and maintain healthy routines.

July 10: Insect and Tick Prevention – Understand how to prevent insect bites and reduce the risk of tick-borne illnesses.

July 17: Sun Protection and Skin Health – Learn how to protect your skin from UV damage and practice effective sun safety.

July 24: Water Safety – Explore essential water safety practices and drowning prevention strategies for recreational activities.

Together, these sessions provide valuable knowledge and practical tips for a healthy and safe summer season.
