If you are unsure or not confident on how to get healthcare in Canada, this workshop will cover how to get help.

This hybrid workshop will inform community members on how to confidently access healthcare. Topics include:

  • Finding a family doctor, walk-in clinic, community health centre, and hospital

  • Understanding when and where to seek medical care

  • Patient rights, privacy, consent, and confidentiality

  • Understanding publicly funded health care services

  • Where to find free or low-cost health and community services

  • How to communicate with health care providers and ask questions
