Donald C MacDonald Child Care Centre
Donald C MacDonald Child Care Centre was formerly known as YBOC Workplace Child Care Centre, then it was brought over by The Learning Enrichment Foundation and renamed Donald C MacDonald Child Care Centre, named after former MPP of York South riding who served the community from 1955-1982. The York South community continues to benefit from DC MacDonalds contributions today.
Donald C MacDonald Child Care Centre Preschool program participated in the Designing and Implementing Environmental Inquiry Strategies in Early Years Programs research project conducted by George Brown College alongside 2 other LEF child care centres and other child care centres in the GTA, the project ran from 2020-2023. Donald C MacDonald Child Care Centre and other LEF centres have now adopted the teachings from this project and continue to implement it in our curriculum.

Parking
The centre is accessed at the parking lot where the gazebo and the flag pole are located, there's a fenced-in area with a gate that leads directly into the child care centre. There's plenty of parking available for families to support with drop off and pick up, including designated spots and accessible spots.
