LEF's Summer Program for Adult Newcomers to Canada offers Interactive Language Classes and various activities.

LEF's Summer Program for Adult Newcomers to Canada offers interactive language classes along with many other fun and instructional activities. This is an exciting program that hosts arts and dance classes, computer classes, multicultural celebrations, all with the intention of enriching your Canadian experience and further deepening your connection with the community.

The program is free for eligible community members. The Summer Program runs from July 2nd to August 23rd, 2024.

We also offer an in-person Summer Camp for 6-12-year-old children of IRCC eligible clients, who are registered in the Summer Program. This Summer Camp includes: Educational Activities, Fun and Games, Field Trips, Science Activities, & much more!

Volunteer with us!

We have volunteer opportunities available for everyone who wants to share their skills with the Summer Program team and our clients. Everyone can support and be supported, share and gain valuable skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership. This is a great opportunity for newcomers to improve language proficiency and self-confidence, stay active during the summer, make friends, and contribute to the community.
