Primary responsibilities include draft preparation of proposals, grant applications, and requisite In addition, this individual will be responsible for reviewing and editing Client Engagement content for consistent language and voice of department for internal and external communications purposes including digital channels.

Senior Manager - Operations

This position will focus on the operations and services of our integrated model. It will strengthen Client Engagement’s capacity for planning, executing projects based on best practices, communicating program impacts and outcomes and nurturing reflective practices for growth. This position will oversee LEF’s Newcomer Services, Language Training, Employment Services and Community Engagement programs and will nurture the design, implementation, and incubation of new projects/initiatives. This role will work closely with LEF’s Digital Communications Department and Grant Writer and Researcher to solidify and oversee client and community online engagement.
To be successful in this role, the Sr. Manager will need to try ideas and new approaches to our work, which means taking risks, learning from failures and working with others to document successes.
This is a people management role as well, so a focus on team development and engagement is important and key to program and client success.

Senior Manager - Impacts and Evaluations

The Sr. Manager Impacts and Evaluation acts as a catalyst of LEF’s strategic priorities including responsive growth, knowledge sharing, and strengthening of foundational systems. This position will strengthen LEF’s capacity for grant writing, research, reflection, planning, focusing on program quality measurement and improvement, administrative efficiencies, leveraging the strengths of staff, and strategy implementation. This position will also oversee LEF Skills Advancement Training, Employment, Internationally Trained Professionals, and Employer Engagement programs and support the incubation of new projects.

Quilt on Weston Rd. March 9th Neighbourhood Discussion Report

40+ Mount Dennis community members joined LEF virtually on March 9th, 2021 to discuss ideas and concerns regarding the Quilt on Weston development project, and were also invited to complete a virtual poll. Summer Program Worker

We are delivering an online innovative Summer Program geared to current Language Training clients and other learners of English, with an emphasis on language learning activities, leadership development, job preparation, family activities and community engagement. We are currently looking for a Summer Program Worker to oversee and lead its full implementation who will collaborate with LEF Staff, volunteers, community members and clients in the planning and coordination of the Summer Program.

Program Coordinator – International Medical Graduates Program Temporary Contract

We are looking for a Program Coordinator that will play an active leadership role in supporting the delivery of the Alternative Careers in Health Promotion & Education for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) Program (ACiHPE). This position will be responsible for recruiting and registering program participants; supporting participants to participate in the programs and to navigate and connect with other LEF’s services; facilitating communication among staff, participants, program partners, and other stakeholders; and participating in other program delivery activities such as revising program curriculum, documentation, and evaluation. This position will also support efforts to secure work placements and other practical volunteer opportunities to enhance participants’ job readiness. In addition, the Program Coordinator will take on other daily administrative tasks to guarantee smooth operations including, but not limited to, documentation and reporting of program expenditures and activities, organizing training schedules, program logistics, and maintaining an inventory of program supplies.
The Program Coordinator will be working with a dedicated team of professionals who are highly committed to our community and who support employment and settlement needs, develop employer and community partnerships, and are all strong leaders in their fields of expertise.
This is a contract position that will end on September 30th, 2021.

Client Engagement Worker - Maternity Leave
