English Language Training

If you are a newcomer to Canada, you know that language instruction is the first step in the settlement experience. Through LEF’s free Language Training for Newcomers to Canada students are provided with an individual approach based on their needs. Students have the opportunity to engage in a department that supports learning the language in a classroom, through field trips and learning practical information and skills.

Language Training students can also work with LEF’s settlement services, to support not only learning the language, but gaining necessary documents and information about life in a new country

The goal of the Language Training program is to provide English language training, while also helping newcomers become fully engaged and active participants in Canadian society.
