Job Summary:
In this role, the Job Developer and Data Entry Assistant will support the Client Engagement team in researching and developing new and existing employer relationships that will in turn support clients in finding appropriate career matches, maintain the online job board and physical job board at all LEF locations, complete employer and clients follow ups and provide data entry support to the team in CRM and various excel spreadsheets and databases.
Reports to: Managers
Hourly Rate: $17.60
Overall Responsibilities:
Support the Client Engagement team with research of new employer relationships
Assist with the verification and maintenance of business networks in the Greater Toronto Region
Assist with the research and current understanding of labour market trends.
Assist with creating and editing resumes, cover letters, conducting mock interviews and assisting clients with online job search.
Assist in organizing employer fairs and events
Assist in job development including wage subsidy, job placement and job retention.
Ensure all correspondence and reports are updated regularly.
Assist in entering correct client information in database
Assist in creating flyers, job postings for community distribution and update the website
Conduct online research of different career opportunities with various employers.
Qualifications and Experience:
Post-secondary education is preferred
Demonstrate understanding of employer and client needs
Working understanding of the labour markets is an asset
Ability to case manage for positive client experience
Good oral and written communication skills
Proven negotiation skills
Versed in using online communication platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Classrooms etc.
Proven ability to navigate and research on the internet, use email and do reports
Strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of individuals
Flexible and adaptable to needs of clients and employers
Able to work remotely in a home office
