We are looking for an experienced Residential, Social Housing or Coop Housing Property Manager to develop and instruct LEF’s Building Maintenance and Superintendent Training Program. The instructor will train adult learners from diverse backgrounds with the skills and knowledge required for employment in Building Maintenance or as a Superintendent. During the first 2 months of the position, the instructor will develop the lesson plans and training materials in accordance with the curriculum guidelines. In preparation for course delivery, the instructor will work with LEF’s maintenance team, and within LEF’s 4 locations, to establish building systems and practices that students will learn from during the course. Once the building systems are in place, the instructor will begin instructing the course and supporting students to complete practicums within other buildings.
The instructor will be working with a dedicated team of professionals who are highly committed to our community and who support employment and settlement needs, develop employer and community partnerships, and are all strong leaders in their fields of expertise.
